There will always be a blind spot for the CCTV, so it is important to know where you want to install and where you want to cover. Placing CCTV at the wrong place will not get the effect you want.

Before installing the CCTV, determine which areas are most vulnerable and need to be covered. Decide the purpose of installing, such as whether you want to monitor the nanny you hired, prevent burglary, or watch your pets.

It would be best to consider many aspects, such as the environment, lighting, and the area that will be covered. The best place will be at the corner to capture a wider area.

Let the professional know where exactly you want to cover, and they will help you position your CCTV to have the best coverage. Check the CCTV after installation to see what the CCTV capture is what you expect.

Many people fail to check their CCTV frequently. Think about it, why did you want to install the CCTV in the first place. It’s about preventing accidents, isn’t it?

You will never know what is happening. You may spot that someone may be checking out your property or even a committed crime.

Try to check out your CCTV as often as it may help you avoid future problems. You may even be able to detect any problem with your CCTV and get it repaired immediately.

If you are too busy to keep checking on your CCTV, try to choose a time that is more convenient for you. You may check it after your meal or before getting to bed. Just have a quick view of what’s happening in the day. You may not know what your CCTV has caught.

While we are in this digital era where we have at least a smartphone in our hand, we can connect the CCTV with our smartphone by downloading the apps.

Most of the time, people don’t want to go through the trouble by downloading the apps on their phone as they may have too many apps in their phone or the image on the phone is too small for them. They instead login through the computer to monitor where they can watch in a larger image.

By downloading the apps on your mobile, it is more convenient to monitor it even if you are in a restaurant. You may be surprised that your door is opened when you arrive home. You can use your mobile to monitor your CCTV and watch what’s happening in your house.

We will not be able to see the IR LED light, but through the image that is produced, we are able to know if the function is working.
