The hotel industry has a sky rocking amount of welcoming by this generation. Nowadays people are booking a hotel room for many reasons like gathering, birthday party, or just to chill in a hotel room for a night.

But installing at the right place is important as well. At the entrance, exit gate, lobby, car park, and the hallway is commonplace. Places that forgotten are like, emergency exit, lift, staircase, storeroom, and also authorize place like gym, spa.

These are the place there won’t be many people working around. Which makes it easy for the theft to take place and be sure to cover all the blind spots of the place.

A hotel is a huge building and outnumbers of people enter and exit the building. Setting a corresponding look of uniform will make it easy to identify the difference between an employee and a customer.

Name tag also should be given to the employee so if the customers face any issues with the employee it will be much easier to make a report. Not only that this also makes obvious for the stuff for the lookout for suspicious activity.

The car park is a high-risk location because it’s an easy target for criminals for theft. Installing CCTV cameras are just can be considered as a level one of security. There are a couple of things that need to be kept in mind to tight up the security for the car park.

  1. Hire security guards to patrol the car park. With a licensed security guard the task of securing the place will be much easy.
  2. Light up the car park, don’t leave any place dark. Starting from the entrance, pathway, and at the exit install a quality lighting system this will also make the security feel safe while going on patrol.
  3. Install a barrier system at the entrance and exit.
  4. Create a special space for the employee of the hotel.
  5. Install a tracking system to identify the available parking and display at the entrance of the parking.

Install access control system at lift, room, car park, and authorized places. In this way, you can monitor the customer’s activity and the restricted area like the laundry room, storeroom, and the cafeteria will be the only access to the staff.

Controlling movement helps to be precaution before anything bad could take place.

7. Train the Staff

Apart from the security, the staff that works at the cafeteria, receptionist, room service, bellboy, doorman, and other parts of the hotel needs security training. Create a  security training course that the staff should undergo in order to work in the hotel.
